II Approval should be given within one workday upon submission of application for issuance or re-issuance of licenses by foreign invested enterprises provided that the project meets relevant requirements.

 III Inspection work should be completed on the very day when the materials are submitted for annual joint inspection by the foreign invested enterprises provided that such materials meet relevant requirements.

 IV Assessment and issuance of the import license, export license, or textile export license should be completed within three workdays upon application, provided that the materials submitted are in accordance with the requirements. Should the enterprise be in need of urgent issuance out of reasonable business and the necessary materials be submitted, an urgent license could be granted within one workday.

 V An official written reply should be given within 45 workdays upon application for confirmation and assessment by foreign-invested export-oriented enterprises and foreign-invested high-tech enterprises provided that the materials submitted are in accordance with the requirements.

 VI An immediate official written reply should be given to the enterprises that apply for the processing trade business provided that the materials submitted are in accordance with the requirements.

 VII An official written reply should be given within three workdays to enterprises that apply for license plates for automobiles (including private cars) to cross the boundary between Guangdong Province, Hong Kong and Macao provided that the materials submitted meet the requirements.

 VIII An official written reply should be given within three workdays upon application by foreign employees of foreign invested enterprises to import articles for personal use, and Chinese employees of such enterprises to leave the country, provided that the materials submitted meet the requirements.

 IX Assessment and approval should be given and relevant registration certificates should be issued according to relevant laws within one to three workdays upon application by subordinate enterprises for contracts concerning the introduction of foreign technology and export of software and technology, and for expedient customs clearance.

 X Reports should be submitted to MOFTEC for approval within four workdays upon application by enterprises for the right to engage in import and export, provided that the materials submitted meet the requirements; Registration should be completed and a license should be granted on the very day when enterprises apply for the right to engage in self-operated import and export provided that the materials submitted meet the requirements.

 XI, Applications for establishing international forwarding companies and foreign invested international forwarding companies should be processed and submitted for approval within 5 workdays; Applications for extending regions and scopes of business, establishing branch companies; changing the nature of business and stock ownership，decreasing and altering the registered capital should be processed and submitted for approval within 5 workdays.

 XII A reply should be given to applications to hold exhibitions by foreign enterprises within 4 workdays provided that the materials submitted meet the requirements. Applications for exhibitions abroad should be processed and submitted for approval within 5 workdays.

 XIII, Requisition of Business Visa of foreign businessmen should be issued within 5 workdays after relevant materials are collected.

 XIV Examination and approval should be completed within 7 workdays upon application by foreign companies for the establishment of permanent offices after relevant materials are collected.

 XV An official written reply should be given or a report should be submitted to higher authorities within 7 workdays upon application for the establishment of overseas enterprises provided that the materials submitted meet the requirements.

 XVI An official written reply should be given or a report should be submitted to higher authorities within 5 workdays upon application for sending contracted labors abroad and sending personnel to institutions stationed in Hong Kong and Macao provided that the materials submitted meet the requirements.
