Bureaus of foreign trade and economic cooperation of all districts, county-level cities, development zones and import and export companies are required to acknowledge the following:

China-ASEAN Fair (hereinafter referred to as the Fair) was proposed by Premier Wen Jiabao at the 7^th China-ASEAN (10+1) Summit Meeting on October 8, 2003. From the year of 2004, sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of Guangxi China, departments responsible for economy and trade of the 10 ASEAN countries and the ASEAN Secretariat, and organized by the People’s Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, the integral Fair has been yearly held at Nanning, Guangxi, P. R. China. The 1^st Fair was successfully held in November, 2004 with 16 enterprises of Guangzhou participating in the Fair.

The 2^nd China-ASEAN Fair will be held at Nanning , Guangxi. Related notes are hereby informed as follows:

I. Categories of Exhibition Zones: The exhibition hall is divided into 5 categories by different sectors, which are mechanical equipment, electronics and electric appliances, metal parts and building materials, light industrial products and arts and crafts, farm products and foodstuffs. 

II. Exhibition Dates: October 19 to 22, 2005, totaling 4 days.
Venue: Nanning International Convention and Exhibition Center , Guangxi. 

III. Exhibition Specification and Booth Charge: RMB10,000/ 9m² for a standard booth.

Any enterprises and companies that intend to participate in the Fair shall fill the forms of Exhibition Registration Form for the 2^nd China-ASEAN Fair and Conference Registration Form for the 2^nd China-ASEAN Fair, and fax them to the Trade Development Division of the Bureau of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation of Guangzhou Municipality (contact person: Zeng Yanping; Tel.: 88902218; Fax: 81097902) before May 28. Please note that since the number of booths is limited, it is hard to meet the demands of all exhibitors, therefore, we shall arrange booths strictly according to the order of registration.
